Curious case of the missing socks

The other day I finally cleaned out my drawers and my husbands drawers and guess what I found. A huge pile of socks without their pair, It got me to thinking where do the socks go when we put them in the washing machine, is their a secret sock galaxy where these socks are magically transported to never to be found again or does the washing machine eats them just to spite me. I mean ha ha, I guess these are the mysteries I am to solve now that life has taken on the very sleuth like routine of being a housewife. I sometimes picture my self as being a desperate housewife. If only I too could be all dressed up in designer duds like gabby scouring the toilets but alas that is not to be when I wash the toilets I do it in my husbands t shirts.

Anyways back to the missing socks, so I got to thinking where do these socks go anyway do they have like a secret compartment to store socks in the washer dryers these days well after much searching I did not find the pair and so gave up and trashed them, where my husband found them at night and was not a happy camper that i threw out his favorite woollies.
